Policy Regarding Support Services to the Business:
We do not accept unsolicited calls regarding the sales of products or services. This is for a number of reasons but mainly it’s to increase the productivity of our staff.
Over recent months, we’ve witnessed a sharp rise in these calls, which can be frustrating and time wasting for us all.
This page is designed to provide information regarding our current arrangements, as well as what to do if you would like to be considered in the future.
Broadband. We currently utilise a leased line at both our Penrhyn Court site and Kitling Road. The contract is due to expire during the first quarter of 2019. A specification and Request for Quotation will be sent out (2019) to interested parties in order for them to provide their offering. If you would like to receive the specification sheet, please e-mail your details to firstname.lastname@example.org and put the word BROADBAND in the subject box. Please note that in spite of what the online surveys say, fibre is not available at our address.
Commercial Cleaning Services. We currently outsource a small contract for Commercial (office) Cleaning. At present, we have no intention of swapping from our existing provider. If the situation changes, and you would like to be considered, please e-mail your contact details to email@example.com and put CLEANING in the subject box.
Energy (Gas and Electricity). We are currently locked into a 3 year deal ending May 2020. If you would like to be considered for the future please e-mail your details to firstname.lastname@example.org and put ENERGY in the subject box.
Insurance Services. We have a long standing relationship with our insurance broker and have no plan to change.
IT Hardware. We have a very small spend when it comes to IT Hardware. The hardware we buy, we shop around for and purchase it direct. There is no plan to change this process.
IT Software. We currently operate a business management system which facilitates our processes from end to end. There is no plan to change this process.
Landline Phones. We run ISDN phone lines and the contract we have will run up to the end of 2019. Before the contract expires, we’ll send out a Request for Quotation to interested parties. If you would like to receive this, please e-mail email@example.com and put LANDLINES in the subject box. Please note, we do not intend to purchase new hardware, this will be for the service only.
Mobile Phones. We are currently with EE and the contract will expire September 2020. During the second quarter of 2020, we’ll submit a Request for Quotation. If you would like to receive this Request for Quotation, please send your details to firstname.lastname@example.org and put MOBILES in the subject box.
Recruitment. As well as using our own website, standard job boards and the Job Centre, we have a good relationship with a single recruitment agency who look after our entire recruitment needs. Stationary Supplies. We have a very small spend when it comes to Stationary Supplies. The stationary we buy, we shop around for, and purchase it direct. There is no plan to change this process.
Vehicle Tracking. We operate a fleet of around 16 vehilces each with trackers. The contract we have has expired, and we will look to upgrade / improve our tracking facilities in 2019.
